Need earliners for very small WT deer

Discussion in 'Deer and Gameheads' started by Windwalker7, Dec 6, 2010.

  1. I am going to mount a very small WT deer, nephew's first. The form will be 5x10 to give you an idea of how small.

I see ear liners labeled as fawn (WFE3) in the McKenzie catalog. They are by Actual ears. They do not give measurements.

Anyone use these earliners and what size was the fawn?

Cartilage is removed and besides, my Bondo ears are terrible.

Any suggestions of what ear liner to use or where to get small ones?

If they are really small, get a pair of stienbok liners from Mckenzie. They are celastic liners and work well for fawns and yealing mounts. Good luck.
  4. Thanks for the advice. I was wondering what African game would work.

    Thanks again!

Get a set of small and trim them if you have to, Iv never had a set fit exactly right. Iv always had to do a little test fitting and trimming.
