It was a McKenzie form #CY-V11-CM with an Ozark woods head. Since one front leg was in an elevated position I cut the other leg off, then routed out the form and foamed in a block of wood. Then I routed and foamed in a block of wood in the shoulder of the cut off leg. This allowed me to mount this case skinned coyote without having to cut it up with another incision. Then just 2 wood screws were used through 2, 1/4 of and inch incisions to reattach the front leg.
  4. ;D Stunning animal....and brilliant information, and pics! Doubt I'll ever get to work on a Coyote...but I have learned a lot, Thank you

I am just adding my 2 cents to say thank you and also say congratulations. You do a great job of showing and explaining everything you do to get such an awesome looking mount. It is very easy to follow and learn from. You addressed some of the issues I have run into already. (I see I need to do more work in the measuring department to hopefully alleviate them.) I will gratefully use your knowledge and tips in the coyote I have to do next week. Again...thanks for sharing, and good job!
