Cape Buffalo

Discussion in 'Wildlife Artwork and Crafts' started by caribouhills, Dec 30, 2010.

  1. This was done on a 14 X 18 Ampersand white clayboard, using only an 8B graphite pencil.

Your comments and thoughts are always welcome.

  6. Thank you evreyone for your comments.

Nina, I am guessing but I would say that there are around 30 - 35 hours in this piece.

That is just amazing. I agree with Nina that looks like a photo. It's just not fair for one person to have so much talent when I can't even walk and chew gum.

wow I thought that was a black and white photo at first. You really nailed the face and neck area of this buffalo. I wish I could do this.
  9. Nice job - if you had not mentioned the method you used, I would have thought a BW photo as well... Truly nice work... you looking to sell prints of this?
  10. Thank you John.

    cactus king, thank you also.

Beaumont, I will do prints if there is enough interest, the price would be $125.00 for a 14x18 giclee print.
