Question about the PA Taxi. Assoc. Competition??

I was interested in competing this year. I'm not a licensed Taxidermist, but would like to enter the professional division to get the best learning experience. I plan to join the PTA, which I thought was the only requirement to compete. The professional divisions rules says " Licensed Taxi. or someone that advances from the amateur division" Is this right?? Do I have to be licensed to enter the professional Division? or would have to enter the Amateur? I'm so confused.....

You can compete in the Professional if you feel comfortable doing so. you don't have to be licensed, it's up to the competitor to start out where they feel they belong. if you do enter in an upper level, there is no way to step down so make sure.
