    Hey guys!

For those who don't know me, I'm new to taxidermy and I'm still a bit green! I'm mostly into birds, but I'm playing with mammals now too! :D
So, I hand-wrapped this mannikin, and my main concern is with the face... What do you think? Any tips?
My 3rd mammal ever, and my first real mammal with a hand-wrapped mannikin.

  2. coons really don't walk on the tips of their toes

I do like the wrapped body though, you are on the right track

Well I was going for this kinda effect with the toes:

but I don't think I quite got it...
  4. The toes would be right if the manakin was positioned like that. But the position of the feet on the mount, is different, and it doesn't quite fit. His face looks good to me. Very soft. :)

I also think that the head should have been level... looking back on it

    thanks guys!
Yea, the more I look at it, the more I see how weird the positioning is...

However, I really enjoyed wrapping my own mannikin. It really helps you to learn the anatomy!
