Is there someone out there that has a good tutorial on wolf rugs?
I have found a couple but have not found one that I like.
I have a few wolves we catch every winter up here in Canada.
And have a eight foot six inch gray and a black eight foot 4 inch which I would like to get made into rugs for the house.
I have them skinned for taxidermy right now and have not found a good tutorial on wolf mounts
    HELP!

  2. This is more of just a face tutorial. I hope you find it useful, though I'm sure some others can give better info than I'm capable.

    ace,

    What info do you need?

  4. Roger Martin and I did a 3 part article for Taxidermy Today in 2003 on mounting, rugging, then finish work on a mountain lion rug. The first article was in the March/April issue. Possibly you could contact Taxidermy Today at 1-800-851-7955 and see if any of the magazines are available or if you can get you a copy of the article. The principles would be the same for a wolf on the rugging.

    Kind Regards,
    Mary
