    Great job! Over the last month I have seen three or four different ways to color antlers but I definitely think blotting with acrylics gives the best results. Looks very natural!!

    Matt, this 1st picture looks like something on the wire before the Fix-it, did you prep the frame with something before you started?

    Hey Rick, the wire for the tines is wrapped to the all thread, and a secondary wire ties them both together to hold the in place. Then I applied two part epoxy to lock everything in before rebuilding. I might have missed posting that in the very begining.

    Hey Matt TY for sharing... the "Fix-It" product did you like it more than expoy sculpt? does it blend better? is it lighter material?

    Yes, I did like it better than apoxie sculpt, and it does blend alittle nicer as well. It is not a lighter material though. I found it very easy to blend this product and the look and feel of antler is there as well.

    Thanks Artie! I really like the fix it, it's nice to work with and I feel it blends alot better than apoxie sculpt.

    Matt, great tutorial, I have several rebuilds to do, nothing like that but enough to make me nervous.

    You mentioned you use acrylics, any particular brand.
