I was wondering if someone could help me out with this. I have a customer that wants a coyote mounts and wants the base to match his fireplace stones. I was think on using the DOW boards insulation and making a bunch of rocks and bonding them together and putting a piece of plywood right before the last layer to attach the coyote. I was just wondering if that sounds about right or if someone else has done it and has a better way. Thanks, Kevin
  2. Not sure what kind of rock you need to match but I make wooden standoffs to attach whatever I'm attaching and I build my rocks out of 1/4" hardware cloth. I cut access holes in the bottom to make my attachment whether it be the nuts or attachment wires and then I use mache and cover my rocks, paint, and attach the mount.
