armadillo mounts

    anyone have any info on how to mount an armadillo never done one before and how much should i charge

    Look in the archives...there's info in there. These little guys are more work than you would think. The tail is a pain in the butt and you will spend a lot of time on it. You need to take it apart segment by segment then drill out the centre so you can feed a wire through to support the segments which you will have to glue back together. The head is also a bit tricky to skin out...take your time. The body armour shell comes off like a helmet and you will have to tan it or dry preserve it. You'll eventually glue the underbelly skin up onto the form then put the shell on last. Anyhow have fun they are a real different critter to work on. Good Luck.
