Thank you man!!!
great work travis. That mount is just pleasing to the eye all around
Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone!! I felt that photo didn't do the white springbuck justice, so i'll upload photo's from a different angle...
Travis, the piece is beautiful from any angle! And I love the wood chosen for the pedestal! Was that inlaid, and what type of wood(s) are involved?
And a true rarity ... proper ear placement on a Springbok mount! From front to back, all three just "JUMP!"
Again ... well done!
Travis that is very cool!
Thank you so much John, I believe that wood to be a keaat, it is a South African teak. that white streak is natural, a real eye catcher!! its just that contrast the fits in with the contrast of the mount... all of this, the pedistal, forms, mount, tanning all original and hand crafted by us! glad its done, looking forward to the next one...
Travis I admire your work. Looking forward to seeing more of it.
Thank you Cliff! I am looking forward to the next project!
What a fox !! Some artistry there with the wood and the tail shape
Nice fox, Cole! Cool "flow" to the piece.
Fabulous work again, a constant joy in this great thread. Quality, artistry, and sheer class. The fox is exquisite. Thanks for sharing them, wishing you well, stargazer.
