I truly appreciate the well wishes. I guess by my being on here since I had the procedure on Thursday probably gives the wrong impression. This one has truly kicked my ass. My neighbor just called and asked if there was anything he could do. I told him only if he brought his gun over and put me out of my misery.

Those of you who've had kidney stones know the pain level can't be much worse. You'd be wrong. Bladder spasms is a word you never want to hear - trust me. The stent has irritated the bladder and the bladder has decided that it really doesn't want the intrusion. EVERY TIME you have to void, the bladder spasms and each spasm induces more urine to come to the bladder. Trust me when I tell you I can trace my entire left urinary tract today.

The bad thing is that the only medications they can give you for bladder spasms are extremely constipating. (every action has an equal reaction.) Since I've had several bowel obstructions, I can't have the medicine. So I just scream each trip to the hopper. Trust me, this is beyond "old". The doctor is going to pull the stent on Tuesday (6 to 8 days before he usually would) but that means I have two more days of this. My fun meter has pegged out over this crap.
