Decorah Eagles

    anyone else been following them? I've been since a little after they hatched. Weird looking little guys but I decided to do a quick painting study from a screen shot.
    10x15 oil on canvas

    If you havent seen the eagle cam yet, you should check it out. The parents bring back all kinds of dead stuff.

  2. I have been watching since eggs were laid.Very nice job.They have had a crow in there,two rabbits,several fish and a musk rat.Pretty neat to watch.

    a few weeks ago my mom called me because they had a fresh squirrel. it was cool to see the mama eagle de hairing it it use in the bedding of the nest

    only dabbling. these little guys of course, but now stepping into wildlife photography so hopefully more paintings to come
