Can someone tell me how in the world this pheasant is attached??
using wires threw the feet and into the antler.
i know this but are they screwed back into the antler seems like they might break
I did a mount like that once, cut a groove in the antlers underneath, bent the wires to fit and apoxie sculpt over thge wires.
In that pose I would just insert the wire almost all the way threw and use a good glue on the wire and insert in the antler. It won't go anywhere. I would use at least a 12 GA wire for stability.
you could also drill a larger hole on bottom side to allow a drywall screw head to be hidden then run a short one [drywall screw] along side wire ,this grips the leg wire and pulls it down a wee bit more apoxy over airbrush ,done
