Welcome to Game Head of the Week. Nice work last week by everyone!!

Everyone from beginners to the pros can share what they've been working on. You can post any game head it doesn't have to be a deer. No critiques please. This is a place you can post with out fear. If your not sure how to post a picture, feel free to email it to me ([email protected]) and I can post it for you. Keep up the good work!

I'll get it started with my first buck I shot when I was 12. I mounted it for our IA show on a Gene Smith browser form.

Now this is an interesting buck. I've been chasing this deer around our property for the past 3 years. I have never actually seen him other then in deer cam photos which we got over 20 this year! Our neighbor harvested him the last day of gun season here in Wisconsin. It was disappointing when I heard he got him but also happy I was able to work on a piece that I had some "history" with. At least I know when he is. There are so many of those bucks over the years that you wonder what ever happened to. Anyways great work everyone!

(by the way the date is wrong on the cam in case you were wondering why he is a short hair in November here in Wis ;D)

  18. Great job all. Pretty deer Dennis.
Boxie, I have a few that alway want straight mounts also. I mounted a straight this week on a Ohio Tax. form and that will be the only form I use on straight mounts from now on. I really has a nice look to it and mounted really easy.
Here's a few finished this week.
