Was with Lowell all weekend He did make the plants by hand and sculpded most everything on the display from scratch and recreated the butterfly, This guy is one of the most talented young taxidermist in the country, He is not just a taxidermist he is a true artist,Painter and Sculpter. He just got back from doing a 119 ft mural 14 ft high outdoor scene. Good luck with things as he had a rough start to the weekend.

I spent some time with Lowell at the World Show and after the show came over to my home to check out my trophy room and bird collection. He's a true artist and an excellent Bird Man,plus he's done several mounts for me. Great job Lowell. Have a safe trip home, Mike

Thank you all so much. I just got home after driving all night and im still in shock! I really just took this piece to learn with, to to get a feel of what compwtion was about, what the judges like and dont like. These pieces that the competitors brought were beyond anything I was expecting. I will post some pics of how it was buit and I will gladly share in a few days my new techniques for strong, durable, very lifelike and very thin leaves and plants.
