What is the size requirement? 10, 20, 30,K!

I tried to upload from my CPU and @ 40K it stated it was either too large or not an avatar.

you need to edit your picture that you want to use, squew it down to just about the size that the pictures that are posted here are. And it will fit right over to here.

The photo for your avatar should be cropped and resized in a photo-editing program to a size anywhere from 72 pixels square up to 120 pixels square. We will accept avatars up to 144 pixels wide or tall, but if they are this big, some browsers will only show a partial image with a scroll bar underneath. The avatar should be saved as a .jpg or .gif file.

To upload a photo in your message, the maximum file size is 128 KB and the maximum height or width is 640 pixels. Larger photos can be hosted elsewhere (such as photobucket.com) and linked in your post with the [IMG]
