A lot of folks on here seem to like the Pro 555 for use as a hide paste, myself inlcuded. Does anyone have any experience using the Heavy Duty Clear Pro 838? The listed applications are similar and the cost is about a third of 555 in my area....

I just bought 5 gallons of the 838 by mistake, meant to buy the 880 to try out. I will be trying the 838 next week and will post my thoughts on it then. Someone else may have some input on it already, will wait & see.

call the people at pro 1 and let them tell you all the features there past has; you will be amazed that a past can do all that !

I've had some unopened gallons for 6 months without any problems at all. Once opened, If the can is sealed tightly after use, it seems like it would last for a good long time
