That is one decent looking bass Fathead.
Hello everybody! So many excellent looking fish this week!!!!! Here is a spawning color sea run brown trout 15 lbs. Trout was a nightmare! (Lots of bumps and scars all over, been hanging in the tail for many hours, and the belly opened.) ??? ??? ??? Too much extra work....... But I hope customer are happy with the results. Thanks. Ollie
Very nice coloration on that trout Ollie, the customer will love it!
Ollie...if that client of yours has a problem with that fish...be better quit fishing and get some glasses. That is an awesome fish.

Here is a new one from me. No more fish for the year - they are all done and back to the big game and bird grind.
I used a new chrome color and painted every scale by hand and when I glossed, they all turned grey! It looked fantastic before I glossed and I wonder why I spend 35+ hours painting one fish! This particular king had alot of blue in it. Big river reproductions, one of Jeff's newer blanks.
The picture doesn't show how much green there is on the back GRRRR LOL.
One more shot.
Heres my latest, a 42 pound carp. Apparently they guy was spearing and got a spear in the fish's head then it broke off. He came back a few minutes later to find the fish still there with the spear in its head. He wanted it mounted with the spear still lodged in its head. Sorry if anyone is offended by this.
I'm not offended by it at all. Taxidermy is about preserving memories and if that is part of the memories of his trip, then so be it. Great job!!
Yep...that is one groovy fish mount...love it.
Same here...not offended at all!! Great mount, brings good memories back to the customer!!
