Krowtann for Turkeys Really?

  1. Yes its true, I skinned a Turkey head and put in Krowtann and salt mixture let sit for 3 days and nuterlized and mounted, let dry and it came out really nice. Just need to paint it up. I'll post pictures when finished. Well heres a pic before painting it.

    Yep you can do anything with Krowtann. Nice bird. ;)

    I'm confused about this one though. Did you cut his balls off before you mounted him? :-\

  3. Im finding that out, done deer-snake-turkey head- and now got gator in the stuff!

    Your telling me all you did was KT the turkey head ? No freeze dry ? I cant see how that head is not going to shrivel up down the road.
  6. Well this is done on my bird so I'll watch it and post in acouple months and see but as for now looks good

    I want to see the finished head. I personally wouldn't try it, but hey if it works for you go ahead. Let us know how it holds up.
