I hope you know that none of us would think of trying to deprive you making a profit through advertising on this site,HOWEVER,
that $%^&# Chevy Truck advertisment is just one big damned distraction. I have 3 computers and a handy dandy cell phone and when I access my one and only internet site, I'm constantly battling that damned Chevy Truck advertisement. If the cursor dawdles too long. the site is locked out until that damned thing loads and can be cleared. Is there any way in your computer genius you can move that bitch offscreen or certainly make it more of a conscious effort to select and load?

Yeah, but what pizzes me off is I want one of those fricking trucks and can't afford one, so when that ad comes up it just reminds me of how broke and deprived I really am. Talk about depressing.

Are you referring to the ad at the bottom of the page?

Yes sir. When on the cell, you can't manuver. It blocks out the screen.

Yes Ken. I have to be careful with my mouse on the laptop and the PC. When I pick up my Droid, it's almost like a magnet and I have a helluva time clearing it there.

Ken. Yes its annoying. But, I do understand that this site is free to all who wish to use it and you have to sell ads to help recover some of the cost to run it.

George. I'm not trying to be mean or anything negative here. but this post reminds me of a commercial i seen several years back. A bunch of old men in some way out little rinky dink town all have the latest gadgets. Way to go George for keeping up with things. Now I need to take note and get up to speed on the electric / Mobile era. Thanks for posting.

LOL I'm sure if I were 15 or 16, these "new gadgets" wouldn't be a problem as they are to us old farts. But as I've said about taxidermy, I've spent half my life UNlearning methods that were, once upon a time, "new". Well, "once upon a time" won't make life easy for you and if you don't at least TRY to keep up, you'll be too far behind to ever get there. Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way. I never much liked that last choice.

We have taken steps to stop the display of these ad units on all mobile devices so hopefully that won't be an issue anymore. Also if you have a droid or iphone, downloading the free "OHUB Campfire" app from the respective app stores will let you access this site on your mobile device in a much more enjoyable format.

We are working with the ad to fix the issues that some may be having on screen widths less than 800 pixels wide.

The [X] button to close these ads has now been relocated to the right side of the ads, so visitors with browsers smaller than 800 pixels wide (and all mobile users) can now close it out for the day with a simple click.
