Skin mounting questions

I've exclusively molded and cast the few fish I have done. I'll be getting some walleyes soon, and thought I'd try my hand at skin mounting one or two, what DVD(s) would I need to show me the basics of skinning and attaching to a carved foam form? Would this cover all the materials I would need? I have the Tom Sexton finishing book, but it doesn't cover the preliminary step. Thanks.

Get a hold of the Breakthrough fish manual.

George The older I get, the better I was.

Matt Thompson has a two video set on skinning, mounting, and finishing a largemouth bass. The Breakthrough Fish Manual is a superb book but it won't help with the skinning and mounting.

Why wouldn't it?? It shows, with photos how to skin and mount a fish...cold and warmwater.

Get the Breakthrough Fish Taxidermy Manual There is also a Breakthrough Tom Sexton Fish Finishing Manual manual that only covers rebuilding and painting. Both are must haves IMO.

Senior moment Jim. I was thinking of the schedule book. Still no book is as good as a video as no video is as good as hands-on.
