UFD Awesome work,Welcome Krusher167 nice fish
Beautiful Dave! An excellent example of fish anatomy under hydro dynamic pressure. By the way, on the day I added the blood to my fish, I couldn't find my cajohnies ;D
One thing Dave didn't mention about his larger King is that he brought that replica to the 2011 Idaho show and took best in category, the Starfish award and peoples choice best fish. That was with a fish he mounted and molded 15 + years ago!
Pete and Dave all at once DANG! Nice work
Some extremely nice work going on here.
Here is a 28" walleye skin mount for a friend. With a carved body. Now if he would just come and pay for it.
Mr. Campbell your work is phenomenal !!
thats a beautiful walleye...
I finally finished the Small Mouth that I started at Rick's. I learned a whole lot while I was there, but not enough, so I'm going back this coming October for more. This is my first post on this thread but, hopefully, not my last. I would like to thank Rick for starting a fire inside to start doing fish taxidermy....something I tried doing before but was never really good at. He gave me the confidence that, maybe someday, I might just be good at it if I keep the "perfect practice" and "flow" thoughts in my head.
You guys make me jealous, Dave: unbelievable, JeffC very nice, and love the attachment point. everyone else you continue to inspire me to try harder. Here's a skin mount of a 14 inch Ringed Perch from the Mississippi River here in NW Illinois. I still struggle with the paint scheme on these little guys. paul

Thanks everyone. Maybe someday I'll be as good as you guys.
Here's a few I will put on my website shortly. A couple of them shows the fish without a gloss coat.
