  5. Derek the two deer I posted first is on the same manikin I used to alter to get the wall pedestal mount.

  6. That looks so much like one we just finished up!

  7. Those look great.what size forms are those, look big.

  8. Nice work Mr.Coombs.
Here is one of the best looking capes that I have seen in a long time mounted on a 8600 McKenzie.

  9. John, the one we did is a pedestal with drift wood and a rock backing. The driftwood is in a similar position and we used the same leaves as you in nearly the same position. Great work!

    I'll get a photo today, I go in at 5. ;)

  11. Thanks for the compliments

All three deer are on the same manikin measuring 7 1/4 x 26 at the atlas vertebra. The wall pedestal was altered from the same manikin. The three deer were taken off the Mississippi River in Louisiana.

Derek, awesome that is what I say when I see your drawings. Thanks

ccook63 I agree that is a very nice looking cape, wow

Rhasputin that really sounds like a very nice mount hope to get to see it Thanks

I had a customer who wanted something special for his buck that scored 192. I used Quik-Rock for the scene. For those of you that have trouble knowing what to charge for this kind of mount, I get $30 per hour plus materials. I charged $1200 for the deer & scene. Basework was not included. Hope this helps when you get a request for this kind of thing.

I finally had some time to take a few pictures. Here is a bruiser that went home the other day, as well as a moose I finished recently. I scored the buck at 196 and some change.
