90 ounces? Sounds like you are adding way too much acid

    Here
I'm running a 30 gallon pickle with 15 oz of safety acid. You only need half an ounce per gallon.

90 ounces? Holy moly!! that would read zero! You have way to much acid in there.

90 oz for a 30 gallon pickle would be the correct ratio if you were using Critric acid not Safety acid ;)

30 gallons of water should only take 15 oz. of safety acid. You are still using WAY to much. Glad it's your money and not mine. Good luck.

No it does not, but you don't plan on listening to any of us. Good luck with it all.

"here what happen my mom purchase bigger measuring cups...i add 20 oz to much"

...but 1 ounce = 1 ounce regardless WHAT size measuring cup you use!

  18. 1/2 oz to every one gallon is the correct ratio.

I don't know anything about tanning or pickling, but I do know if you have a PH of zero... adding more acid will not raise the PH. ::)

1/2 oz acid and 1 pound of non ionzed salt per gallon.
