That is awesome !!
very natural pose....great job
I have some close ups of the face. Can't post the picts but I can e-mail them. ???
These are pictures Bill sent to me of the process and the final mount. I told Bill I could post them for him. This folks, is how a dream is "born"!
It starts with a concept drawing on paper ...
Then in the creative process, one looks at an existing mannikin, and "sees past" what is in front of him ...
Then this is where the fun starts! And the real work!
Even that base becomes part of the Creative Process!
And it all culminates in the mount you see here. In short, he earned his awards!!!
What a beautifully done face!
Congratulations Bill! Well done, my friend ... well done!!!
Bill, you are an inspiration, Congratulations!!!!
Inspiration to young taxidermists everywhere ;D
Hands down one of the BEST big cat mounts I've ever seen. Big cats are my personal favorite animals, and I know that they're nearly impossible to mount 'right'. Capturing any animals' personality is tough, but it seem that cats are especially difficult. This, however, is simply fantastic!
John thanks for posting those pics, and thanks everyone for the coments. It feels awsome to inspire my fellow Taxidermist as others have inspired me to push myself to new limits I never could dream of.
Very original, superb!
Very impressive and inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

Great looking mount. Congrats.
Great post on an exceptionally great piece...........
Yeah I agree, I stared at the cat for a long time and the only thing I found was it had just tiny ear problem, you won't see better example of modern taxidermy.
Now that's a cat I like! Superb work!!!
That is absolutely breathtaking. As a beginner, I'm quite inspired.
That is fantastic work. Congratulations Bill!!
