Where can I buy dextrine for the rock making I saw in Michael P video?
Did you ever think of looking in the taxidermy supply catalogs?
I get mine from Joe Coombs.
Do you always anwser peoples question with a question?
Thanks thats what I'll do.
I have 50# bags of yellow dextrine at $50 plus shipping.
Kendall, that's what's called a "rhetorical question". That means it really wasn't INTENDED as a question but rather to remind you that you should have already known the answer before you asked.
I get mine from Joe Kullis who just posted he sells it!(LOL) Great guy to deal with and a 50lb bag goes along way! Still have plenty for now Joe, thanks!
Awesome, that's alot better deal. I'll be ordering from you next order. Thanks a ton.
Where could a guy find the vermiculite. Any help would be great.
Lowes Garden Center
Where can I find some water? ;D I know they are out in Texas!
Check with someone in the north-east.
Now that's a good one! I hear Vermont might have some extra!
Ya, it's really funny
You can get smaller quantities off of ebay. Thats were I got mine.
WASCO sells it in smaller quantities (5, 10 and 25 lbs.).
Jim Allred sells a "Rock Mix" that looks killer & is EASY too!! Order what you need in different quantities and you don't have to worry about stocking up on large quantities that'l have to be stored.
If you are using vermiculite(also referred to as insulated cinder/concrete block filler)-check with a local block mason for his supplier.
If you are using cellulose (shredded paper) in your mix-check with your local building insulators. They do still use this as blown insulation in attics, etc.
Hope this helps, Susan.
