I posted pics on my website for those that may want to see how I created my habitat and mount. Here are a couple teasers...

    Thanks guys. Much appreciated!
I am continually amazed at the great people on this site and how useful/helpful it is. I am still fairly new to all this and this site is an invaluable tool to learning.

The baby opossum looks like hes in trouble, awesome mount.

  11. Looks good!

  12. It might be in trouble, but I hope for the bear's sake that he's just curious, and not too hungry. Ahhh, not enough spice in the world to make one of those critters appetizing. :)

What are you using for your rock mix and is it the same for the trees?

Different. Trees were constructed with wood and wire then epoxy applied- sculpted/detailed. Sapling was wire and copper to create strength and then epoxy. Rocks are carved/shaped from foam blocks. Then I applied rock mix. Big rock was created with wood and wire mesh. Then drywall compound and rock mix combined.

Amazing! You should offer training or make a video, I would love to own one.

That habitat is beautiful (the whole mount is beautiful, but the detail you put into the habitat is really wowing). I'd love to see something like that up close and personal, I bet the pictures don't do it justice.

George The older I get, the better I was.

Gorgeous work, but I'm disappointed. The title led me to believe you were going to show "How I did it".

Yeah, it was faster and easier to post on my website. I did take many photos thru the progression. Just no time right now - I am not the fastest when it comes to the photobucket deal and loading photos etc.- cumbersome, and I didn't want to jam up this forum with a bunch of pics for those not interested.
