    Wow great work everyone! Here are some skin mount Redears. A 10 1/2, 10 3/4, and a 11 1/2in citation.
    I did these for a friend of mine.

  5. haven't posted in a while. These crappie are about 17" each. Whom ever posted the tip about using liquid frisket on the crappie fins, thanks. Most realistic fins I have done.

    I have been knee deep in whitetails since July, so I haven't had much of a chance to post any fish. I decided the other day, to take a break from the whitetails and complete this king salmon. It is a spawning Alaskan King from JG replicas. The replica was totally awesome, and I would highly recommend it. Reference for this particular species was very tough to locate. Anyway, my contribution to Rick's fish pix.

    Another Skinmount...
    A Fresh-run Lake Ontario King just starting to color up for the spawn
    Repro head,tail & adipose , all other fins are real skin...hand carved body

    Thanks to everyone sharing your work. rp, great job on the recreation of Dottie the LMB.

    I had the privilege of doing Bob's World Record Redear Sunfish which weighed 5 1/2 pounds. I did a custom replica reproduction and a skin mount for him.




    The scenes show what the fish was caught on.
