Some more last week.
I hope none-gun hunters are included here too ;D
Sorry my gun is a single shot every day.and sometimes doesnt shoot straight,, its kind of Heat Seeking missile
these are some selected few shots from harvests since Sep so far; total of 10 shovelers, 1 gadwall, 2 Mallards, 1 wigeon and 2 Partridges .
Sorry Im trying to catch up with the whole thread here ;-)
Some more, along with the fish we caught on the same trip. We caught redfish, speckled trout, crappie, largemouth, channel cat, blue cat, & gasperguo.
Nice, falco - with that kind of close-up reference, no wonder your raptors always look so alive! That a pure peregrine?
Falco wat state you in that would be fun to hunt with a hawk
FAlco do you mount the birds you hunt with your "gun" ?? :
Falco we really enjoyed your pictures!!
Your bird looks awesome.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Milo,, when a trained falcon takes a prey , we usually let them enjoy it for a bit,, I mean pluck and eat the neck ... although we have robbed them before, when they take a nice winter plumage Sharptail grouse, or pheasant...
if they catch a duck, we let them eat it as no ducks look good in our area in open season, all look brown and ugly.
nice photos falco!
This was a recent hunt in Canada
This is my six year old Grandson Kade on his first duck hunt with Dad and Grandpa
