Last night, Robert Fruitt, owner of Olde Raleigh Taxidermy in Clayton, NC , was killed in an accident on I-40. He was 35 years old and was as nice a guy as you'd ever hope to meet. I know he was married and I believe they have a young child (might be wrong on that). Please say a prayer for his family.

  2. I can't believe it! I just met him this year and he is such a nice guy and very, very talented taxidermist. My prayers go out to his friends and family, Scott.

Robert was one of the most gifted taxidermist I knew. He could mount anything and you would say that is amazing. He also was a stand up guy that would help you with anything. He will be missed and my prayers go out to his family and friends.

A fine fellow...a great taxidermist......you will be terribly missed. North Carolina has lost a Shining Star. We all worry about mishaps while in the woods hunting but this is a miserable crying shame. Hugs and prayers sent.
