Simply awesome.... looks great !
Great job! Congrats on getting it up and running!
I like it...but it will take some getting used to.
Nice, real nice! I like it!
Kudos Ken, so far i like it!
I like it
Just toss the ball like before, I don't like the idea of a high flying frizbee! But will give it a go!
Best of the Best now!!!!!!
Thanks again Ken, for all you do. Ill miss your "ugly baby" but this move will probably prove to be much better. Thanks again!
Not to put a damper on the fan-fest (and I'm not trying to imitate Cecil), but I believe that unless the site increases in speed about 500 %, all dial up users will be excluded from the site. I have a Cable line at home and at work, and the time to load pages takes forever. I like to spend about a minute or two several times a day to check in, BUT, if it takes three minutes, as it is now, I probably won't bother - maybe only check it every other day.
Secondly, there needs to be some indication that a post is a picture. I mostly concentrate on birds, and probably wouldn't open a picture post vs. a discussion post. I realize many people want to post pictures, but the old system of linking to web sites worked well. I didn't bother wasting my time looking at John Doe's first duck ever.
I'm hoping sucess for the forum, but a month from now a good comparison can be made. I doubt as many discussions will occur because of the slow response time. A simple calculation of how many posts were made in a given week will be easy.
Great Site. May help keep out the riff-raff too. Thanks Ken!
Very Nice Ken! Thanks for all of your hard work its surely appreciated.
Thanks Ken! From the old to the new, this BUD's for you!
The new site looks great!Good work Ken!
I love the new forum, great job Ken
Wow, what a change from the old. Since I live out in the sticks and have only dialup, I find it loads almost as quickly as any other site. If it's really that slow for cable and dsl, I can only imagine that ya'll know how slow it is here. Welcome back to the world of the old and the new.
Good luck Ken on getting things straightened out.
john c............welcome back....
Much better than the old site ,THANKS!!!!
I like it. guess you can teach an old dog new tricks
