    dont think ive posted this one yet either, not a great picture try to get a closeup at a later date
    skin mount walleye with custom cast head, the carp was a custome replica and the perch is a skin and custom head as well

    THAT SMALLIE PERCH AND CARP ARE SICK THOSE STELLIES ARE OFF THE HOOK THAT ONE FEMALE REALLY HAS A FUNNY SHAPED BACK END WONDER WHAT CAUSED THAT BECAUSE I KNOW ITS NOT YOUR BODY WORK. THE OTHER PERCH WITH THE RADICAL TURN IS OFF THE WALL TOO GREAT WORK IM A LONG WAY FROM ENEN TAKEING A PICTURE TO PUT IN HERE AGAIN.

    Nice work Rich.......sure that rainbow is a skin mount??? Looks like LCR style to me. If not, or either way, great job. I assume those are all cast fins?

    custom mold/cast wiper.

    Vermiculations are a bit too broken, but I kinda winged it . The customer will love it im sure.

    Started off painting each scale silver for a base,

    then finished fish outside.

    Outstanding month for fishwork. So many great fish.

    Appreciate the compliments guys ;)

    Fin n' Flight...good eye! This female chinook does have a bit of a hump to the rear of the dorsal area...maybe it had a touch of whirling disease or maybe something got lost(or gained) in translation from pattern to carved body? I guess thats why I prefer to custom mold...less room for human error :D

    Den...the Steelhead is indeed a skin mount...repro head of course, carved body and all fins are real skin except for the dorsal and pectoral on this one.

    Very creative work Topnotch...especially like the fleshy/translucent look of the lower jaw on the perch ;)

    Jimmy.....!! nice job on the wiper!! Closed mouth is very nice. Did your client ask for mouth closed or did you sell him on that pose?
