Welcome to Game Head of the Week for October 14, 2011. Lets take some pictures and post them up for all to see.

  2. Hi Guys here is a L/size Hog Deer I just finished up, I took him down in my field to take the pics in his natural setting so to speak. I see these guys on my field all the time. The customer wanted him finished on a nice slab of Australian timber, but I like pics of them in the bushes like this. He was very happy with the finished piece.

    Amazing mounts everyone!
Starchild69, I thought that was a real deer before I read it, no joke.
All your mounts are great Boxie!
Nice cat Catgear. Love the look of head mounts for small mammals.
And what beautiful deer and mounts WhiteRubi! I especially love the deer on the Coombs 9500. I have to get one mounted like that sometime.

WOW, thanks guys. I appreciate the kind words. I really love doing these early season whitetail deer.

As for location...all of these deer were shot this season in central KY. Our season opens the first saturday of September each year. We always get some interesting looking capes that early.
