2012 Association of Indiana Taxidermist's Convention Pics!

What a fantastic time!! It had been a few years since my wife Tina and I had been able to attend, and all I can say is WOW! If you haven't been you don't know what you have missed. Indiana has some of the finest taxidermists in the U.S., and hands down, no exception the greatest group of people. Not to take anything away from any of the past Association Presidents, they've all done a great job, but special kudos go to Brad Jones and the current administration who put this year's show together. It was truly the most professionally run show I've been to, with Brad being a low-key yet extremely effective LEADER and organizer. We got to meet with judges whom we have met before as well as some who were new to me. A shout out to Rudy and Dad (Epply); Hang in there Rudy, you're gonna make it! and thanx to Dad for the public testimony of faith. Tony Alfaro (Tohican) I truly enjoyed meeting you and our relaxing chit chat and banter.

It was really nice to meet some Taxinetters in person; it sure aint the same as on here! We also made new friends people are are simply down home folks, salt of the earth.

The vendors were out in force this year than some others; not only were there taxidermy related vendors but Lia Sophia and Partylite were represented for the ladies, giving the event a diversified flair.



I apologize for the pics-certainly not all mounts are shown. I will post more later if I can figure out why some are blurry in my computer but not in the camera ???


Oh and BTW, Ellen degereres, Rosie O'Donnel, and Wanda sykes even showed up for the event !

Randy, Thank you for posting all the pics. It was great to meet you and Tina in person at the 2012 AIT Show. I agree that the show was great. My favorite part is meeting and getting to know all the talented taxidermists and great people. We were honored to have several members attend from other states, and I saw alot of our in-state members showing them some true "Hoosier Hospitality". I'm already looking forward to next years show.

I just wanted to say thanks for the hospitality of the Indiana Association and it's members I really enjoyed my weekend with my fellow taxidermists. Hope to see many of you over here in Ohio in just a few weeks!
