Mounting a Lifesize Alligator
Dan Hudzik, Illinois

You will be mounting a 4-5' gator with Dan "Psycho" Hudzik. He will supply the skinned gator tanned and ready to mount. Each participant will mount a gator and take it home. Dan will also finish and paint a mounted gator to show that process in a seminar for the entire membership on Friday.

Mammal Body Wrapping Techniques
Jean Roll

Best in the World Champion, Jean Roll will share her techniques on wrapping small mammal bodies for those pieces you can’t purchase a form for. Or for the small mammal you need to pose specifically for a special base. Bring a skinned out carcass from a small mammal you plan to mount. You will produce a wrapped body for mounting that small mammal and cast or carve the head for the form. Jean will contact participants before the seminar with more details.

Open Mouth Whitetail A to Z
Tim McMullen

Tim will show how to install a jaw set in a whitetail. He will be installing a jaw set in a head and reattaching the head back to the form. He will start by properly removing the lower jaw from the form, then installing the upper palate then the lower part of the jaw set at the correct depth. He also will be showing how to build the papillae inside the mouth. Once all the papillae are rebuilt and the upper and lower jaws are blended in then he'll reattach the head back to the form. All participants will receive a half jaw set and tongue. Time permitting he will demonstrate how to also install the half jaw set.
