I'm curious what colors you guys use for salmon teeth?
It is not as straight forward as one would think but the answer will find its was home if you look at a few things first.
1. The time line in the morphology or the life cycle of a particular Salmonoid.
2. It the species it self. Chum for instance look at bit different them Kings.
3. To me the most important factor is only out them where you will see them when they are alive not dead. As a dead fish due to lack of blood pressure as well as the occurrence of the dehydration process upon death can give you a more toothy look!

Thanks Rick...that makes a lot of sense! The current salmon I'm painting is a male silver salmon that is just about ready to enter the river to spawn. He's just starting to get a hooked jaw.
