oryx horn repair ?

  1. Was wondering if anyone out there has ever fixed a broken oryx horn and how Togo about it its about 18in or so that needs fixed and I don't h ,ave the piece eithet any help woulbe appreciated
  2. Cast the other side in Latex by painting it on. Takes several coats. Run a rod down in the broken horn for strength. The cast is flexible enough to bend in the shape you need. Fill it with Onyx smooth cast and hold the bottom of your cast tight to the broken horn(like your filling a water balloon). It kicks in 10 minutes. Wait a bit longer and peel it off, your just about done. Maybe a bit of seam blending, but hardly enough to worry about. Paint to match if needed. Charge $20/inch, pocket the profit.

Thanks to Roy Holdrige who showed us how to do it at the TTAI convention last year.

  3. Hey, thanks for the info I figured cast the other side but didn't have a clue on what supplies to use
