Mr T, nice looking deer. Is that an Upper Penninsula monster? LOL. I know you're gonna tell me all the big bucks are in lower MI. Rich, I love the Mountain Goat. I'd love to get my hands on one to mount. Base looks very nice.

Marty,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, yes,,,,,,,,,,,,,, that's a UP deer, a LUCKY 14 year old boy had it gifted to him by the deer Gods.

 

I tell ya, there are some nice bucks up there, just gotta dig them out. Not as many crops to draw them in, and most people hunt over bait they put down the day before. You can kill does and yearlings all day like that, but not the big ones. And those miles of cedar swamps just hide them all too well. ANyway, nice mount, that is a lucky 14 year old!

The one above is going to replace the Black Hog on the Bottom of this pair....I think the Two Hairy hogs will look really good together.

 

Mr.T, uh-huh. Sure it is! LOL I know, SOME fabrics are supposed to have wrinkles.

 

Seriously, the instructions advise to just roll and wad it up in a tight ball for storage, to give it the stressed look. When it was new it was folded up in a nice square, I couldn't get the creases out, had to tumble it in the dryer.

 

I believe you, I remember those fabrics a few years back. Supposed to NOT iron them and walk around like you'd just gotten outta bed. I hated them

 

Outstanding work by everyone! I love Jim B's cats, Nina makes us all want to excel at what we do, and Mr.T that young man was blessed twice when he picked the right taxidermist for the job.

 

Got some more art done..Well these two aren't new, I finished them about last week. But I've been experimenting on taking photos of my art while they are in frames, and I like the results. Makes them look as nice as they do in person, without killing them like a scan does.







Also just received my latest order from Mckenzie yesterday, so now I am working on tanning and mounting up my dad's WV archery doe. Can't wait to post the finished mount..It's a double white patch cape, so pretty.
