    Artie. you got any front pics? Were you able to emboss any textures with your molds into it? Looks good just needs some textures to contrast the outer "weathered" slick wood.

    Yeah the mold wasnt the greatest bark some spots better than others i'll get some other pics.Thanks mike.Like i said defintely want to take your workshop.I think I put it on too thin in spots so I didnt quite get the texture I wanted

    Did you use foam to carve the log out of?

    i started with a 2x3 and addd hardware cloth wire.then two part foam.rough shaped it round.Then used free form apoxie from smooth on and textured it with a ad i nade from tree bark. and some hand work

    If I understand you right. you made some silicone molds, of tree bark and knots ext, then stamped them into the product from smooth on, is that right? this is an art, I would love to learn. along with going to mikes work shop. but I haven't made enough extra money yet. very nice
