From a local photographer Interlochen M.I.
It is so beautiful by Lake Superior. I would live up there in a heartbeat if I could, but it doesn't seem like there is much for work up in that country except the tourism industry.
This is lake Michigan's sleeping bear national park shore line, north west lower Michigan not the upper peninsula ; the last pic is a place called high roll away in the Jordan valley. Traverse city would be the largest city in the area.
I have pictures of that same white barn that we took last year when we were up there.
our picture looks almost just like that. It is very beautiful along 22
We travel up north every fall.....yes, we are leaf peepers! Love that area!
Would that be the Platte River? I've canoed it several times...
This is the Manistee river ; northern wexford county. the platte river runs in benzie county empties in lake michigan ; home of the coho salmon in michigan.
That is why I love having a cottage up there......well, and all the fishing opportunities too. Those are some great pics and I know I 've been to 2 of those places last year. Never been to the river pic though, Funny, I have only fished the Manistee one time , that is one beautiful river to float !!!!! Thanks for sharing Mike!

Would love to see a oil painting of these pictures, wish I could paint them. I have a brother that can, I will have to send him the pictures.
