    Depends,........

    Depends upon the lighting. When I first take a pic during a photo shoot the pupil is more round, then as I keep using the flash the pupil gets smaller (like a slit).

    Randy my camera is almost three years old.......getting ready to upgrade soon.

    I am using a NIKON COOLPIX 5700. It is a 5 megapixel and has a 8x OPTICAL zoom. I don't mess with digital zoom hardly at all. The higher optical zoom is the key...as well as a high megapixel.

    I saw a nice 8 megapixel the other day.......might just have to get it.
