How do I repair a bleached out deer cape? We have three mounted deer that are bleached out on one side from the sun . Can the hair be dyed? What is the best option? One of the deer mounts is very sentimental.

    remount them with another cape

Is that the only option? It's so expensive. It's good to know that, at least, that is an option though. Thank you

The hair that is touched by the Sun ,, is toast and brittle, hair dye will not make it look like a deer, you would have to dye the whole mount, and it would look one solid color. New capes as Tim suggested is the best way.
