   After a few years layoff I recently discovered I have 2 different names or memberships.Can these be combined or should I just delete one?

   They cannot be combined. You should delete one if you want it gone. Your two accounts will have different email addresses, and one of the accounts may have more history and PMs that you might want to save, so choose carefully which one to delete. Or, you can do nothing and simply keep the second account as a backup.
