Hides tearing

  1. I had 5beaver pelts and 2 coyote tanned several years ago well now if you put any pressure on rhem they tear? They were "professinaly" done I was told that it was an outfitt outa californa so im not sure how they tannd them is there away to make them more derable. Or just keep them up outa reach

    I don't think there's anything you can do to reverse the degradation, You can back them with a heavy material like denim to prevent tearing. I have restored some polar bear and grizzly bear rug with a product called tear mender, It' a latex glue thats stays flexable
