I have almost ran through all of my skulls for the year. How do you guys who sell beetles.....measure an approximate amount? Whats the
average price per 1,000? Like $50 or so? Let me hear your input. Later.

Take a sample. Take a cup and scoop up some frass and beetles. Count the beetles/larvae that are easily countable. So, figure, on average that many will come out with each scoop. Then, when you've got your subsequent scoops into your holding container, I used to just add another few cups for good measure, and a good chunk of frass (should have eggs and small larvae). You've got to err on the side of adding more to the box though, sincc it's unlikely that the population is equally densely packed in all areas of the enclosure.

As for pricing, I think I was asking about $50-$75/1K when I had enough, and up to about $200/5K++.
Remember, you gotta give friends REALLY good deals! Haha. ;)
