How long can a freshly tanned/pickled hide be kept safely in the refridgerator?

Is it just pickled or tanned? If its tanned correctly then for a long time....if its just pickled I wouldn't recommend it but maybe someone else will chime in

It has already been pickled, final fleshed, neutralized and tanned for 24 hours. I ran out of time and didn't want to have to re-freeze. Just nervous, don't want to damage it.

I've had capes in the fridge for a week, may have to wet it back a little, will dry out some. To long, may develope mold.

I've had one sit for a week with out a problem but wouldnt make a habit out of it, if it's just gonna be a day or to it's probably fine, if not I'd recomend freezing it.
