  1. Phoenix-cry, you must post more pics of your snake! It's incredible! And I really like your peacock.

Figured I'd go ahead and contribute to this page with my own collection of cool critters. Not abnormal, but you wouldn't find them in the wild. These are all ranched pelts.

    From left to right:

2 "bluefrost" mink -- these are extremely rare, the pelts are from the late 1930's and I've been told that nobody even breeds these anymore because of color inconsistancy. I flipped one of them over to show the white/speckled markings underneath. Both pelts have totally white underfur, too.

    "Royal Silver" mink

"Jaguar" mink (Nina already posted a picture of a mounted one, but this pelt helps show how big they are, compared next to a fox!)

    Amber fox

    Platinum fox

This one is thankfully still out there. The most amazing thing is that it even reached maturity.

    Phenomenal!

  12. Oh. Wow. I love the Royal Silver mink's coat pattern more than then the Jaguar mink pattern I think. I love platinum fox too. The amber fox seems neat, but I've never seen pictures of them whole though alive, mounted, or dead, only seen the pelts.

That mask-less raccoon is really unique!

  17. That spotless cheetah is awesome. It looks like some kind of cheetah-lion hybrid or something.

Love the maskless coon and the piebald deer. The fisher coon is really neat too. I love it's markings. Was it's tail short like that when it was alive?

Just another "Blonde" Coyote. Sorry about the "award" picture. Not trying to boast, only have a few pics from this clients piece.
