MN Competition...Mount Pics added!

    Have such a great time at the 2012 MTG show!! Always enjoy meeting everyone and learning new things!
    I will post pictures from the show later this week, but I had to show what I took home this year :)
    2 third place ribbons in the professional whitetail
    3 Second place ribbons in professional mammal
    1 best of arts and crafts ribbon for a woodburnt mushroom...
    AND to top it off an engagement ring :) ....Although this was only my second show...it will be hard to top this year!

    I'm going to put this on this post as I think Kelsey will post show pics and this post will get a lot of traffic....so here goes!!!! This was my first time running a show as President of the MTG and what a show it was....204 peices of REALLY OUTSTANDING QUALITY TAXIDERMY, we had entry's from at least 5 states and 4 of the best judges i've been around Brett Wingfeild, Mark Gonnering, Greg Cuvelier, and Mike Nakeilski!!!! I would like to thank all four of these guys again for their hard work and if your looking for a class act judge for your show these guys all get a big thumbs up from me!!!!!! Our supply room was packed and thanks to all the suppliers that showed and donated to make our auction a huge success!!!! But most of all thanks for all the members that showed up and brought some great taxidermy it was nice to meet more of you guys and look forward to seeing you all in Grand Rapids in 2013!!!!!     Thank you everyone. I will post pictures of some mounts after work today. If anyone else has any please feel free to post them aswell. Bruce, He proposed when we got back to our room after the banquet. :)

    Congradulations to you Kellsy and Tom, I wish you would have said something so we could have anounced it at the Sunday meeting when you were there. Thanks for coming back this year and thanks for acceping your nomination for the board. Its always great to get some new blood on the board. Thank Tom also for taking over the newsletter editor position. Take care.
