What the hey...do these people just auotmatically think that we can read their language. I have been looking at this forum for a lot of years and this has to be the first time I ever saw this. GIVE ME A BREAK.

Hey you guys dont you know China ownes the U.S. now.Alot of people from other countries already think Amercians are popmus and arrigant already. You might want to be nice.

 

Speak for yourself Jason. No one owns ME and I wouldnt think of going into a Chinese business and "demand" they speak English like the bleeding heart socialists want us to do here.

I was speaking for myself. I was just giving some advise. Goerge you are very respected,and I see your point.This is a world wide site,but I know I dont need to tell you that.The point I am trying to make is that the person is not here in the U.S. demanding we speak their language.They just said they dont understand American English as some like I do not understand Chineese.

 

There's a reason that the "universal language" is still English. Do you know that every flight crew in the world is REQUIRED to be fluent in English? Even the French. And though we do have many international members on the site, McKenzie and WASCO are still English speaking companies.

 

I have to also add that in America 99% of the time when you call some place now for b.s. reasons the operators first words are Hello and welcome to "..." for English press 1, for spanish press 2.Same as most of the instructions in things perchased one side is English the other is Spanish.I am really coming to the conclusion not very long from now Spanish will be the have to speak language in the U.S..When that happens I will be screwed because my Spanish is almost as bad as my taxidermy skills.Thats why there is the launguage interpreter addition on here so we can all communicate.

George REALLY??? I'm just in shock right now at your responses. A new guy, a FELLOW FISH enthusiast comes on here, excited to show us his work and get some feedback, and you throw a big, redneck fit because he doesn't happen to speak your language?? News flash for ya: America is not the center of the universe, and this is the world-wide web. Is your goal to rid yourself of anyone who doesn't conform to your language, or is it to instead welcome them as in the perfect example that was set for all of us long ago?

Sorry guys, I have to somewhat agree with George on this one. The chinese guys fish look great, but, I cant stand it when people have to use a foriegn language. And about the Spanish thing, If there wasn't so many ILLEGAL immigrants over the years, they could require every American to learn English. If you cant speak it, then get out. It's really that easy! It's just my opinion, I get that, but wouldn't it be that much easier on all of us?

 

I got a hat from a guy with something very simular.Im going to see if I can take a picture of it and post it here .
