Fly control

Discussion in 'Skulls and Skeletons' started by Beltonbanger, May 4, 2012.

  1. What, if anything, does everyone use for fly control around the shop. My beetle box is outside and flies are always a threat. I have been using those hideous stinking fly traps from Lowes, BUT they only attrach a certain few varieties of flies. This year I tried a new trap with the fly sex attractant in it. It seems to work more on the common house fly(which cover my exhaust on the beetle box)!! The first day I put it out the trap was full of flies with in an hour and my box area is free of pest! I breath a little easier until I build an indoor inclosure for my bugs!! I have less flies around my garbage as well. May not be as big of an issue for you northern guys, but in Texas, we have plenty of flies!
    Just an FYI!!!
